What is Greenroom?
Greenroom is an AI mock interview platform for students preparing for Investment Banking, Private Equity and Asset Management interviews. The AI interviewer pushes back with realistic follow-up questions — the part most candidates fail in real rooms.
How is this different from existing prep platforms?
Most existing platforms are static — videos, PDFs, forums. Greenroom is a real-time conversation. Our AI rejects memorised answers and forces you to think on your feet, with feedback after every session. We also tag questions by sector (IB / PE / AM) and bank, so prep is bank-specific.
Do I need a target bank to start?
No. If you know the sector but not the bank, the path, mock interviews, vault and news feed all adapt to your sector (IB / PE / AM). You can pick a specific bank later from your profile.
How does the daily plan work?
After onboarding we build a 3-level path (Foundation → Intermediate → Advanced). Each day you do a few short reps — mock interview, vault drills, deal news. The plan re-adapts as your scores change.
Is voice mode required?
No. You can answer by text. Voice mode simulates a real interview better — recruiters can spot a memorised written answer vs. one delivered live. Both modes are scored the same way.
How accurate is the AI feedback?
The AI grades on accuracy, structure (STAR for behavioral), depth and follow-up handling. It is calibrated against feedback from real bank analysts during customer discovery. It is not a substitute for a real interviewer — it is a way to log many more reps.
How much will it cost?
Free during early access. Paid plans launch before fall recruiting: €9.99/month, €29/quarter (most popular · covers a full prep cycle), or €79/year (€6.58/mo, cheapest per month). A free tier with limited interviews stays available.
Where is my data stored?
In Supabase (EU region). All data encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your CV or session transcripts with third parties beyond the Anthropic API call needed to generate feedback. See /privacy for details.
Can I use Greenroom if I am already in finance?
Yes. Onboarding has an "I am already in finance" path for analysts/associates who want to stay sharp, prepare a lateral move, or get promoted. The AI calibrates question difficulty to your level.
Do you support hedge funds and consulting?
Hedge funds / asset management: yes (AM track). Consulting: not yet — Greenroom is finance-first. The mock interview format and content are tuned for IB / PE / AM workflows.
